Oily and beautiful. Not brimming with acidity that will shoot to the stars, but it's softer palate feel is welcomed and very pleasant to sip on. — 8 years ago
This 2013 bottle was lovely. Had a fruity aroma and which was then backed up by its flavour. A pleasant after taste meant that you always wanted to go back for another sip! — 10 years ago

Created in the 15th century, de Pez is the oldest domaine in Saint Estèphe. The Pontac family gave Pez its vineyards. The property was purchased by Champagne Louis Roederer in 1995. Deep red with fresh fruit aromas and floral spice. Dry firm tannins with good structure allows for further aging. Savory on the finish with earthy mineral, needs decanting. — 9 years ago

fantastic Saint Joseph. Perfect Syrah. ***** — 10 years ago
2009 vintage. Medium ruby - slight copper hue. Strawberry and spice. Some oak here. Quite elegant on the palate but with depth of fruit - post fermentation maceration? Medium plus acidity. Medium minus tannin - soft. This is an approachable, soft and silky wine that gives quite a lot of pleasure. It's not going to blow you away. But it's a delightful wine with fair amount of length. Very youthful. — 10 years ago
Very easy. Not too strong or complex, but nice. And there are tannins. Hints of red fruit. — 11 years ago
