Xarello is one of those grapes I feel a kinship with. Clearly, I must have lived in Catalonia in a previous life. A waxy, honeycomb explosion with sea salt. It held up to a fried prawn head with chorizo. — 8 years ago
The day after rose season ends, it begins again. Happy Birthday, Emma! Balloons and wine both pink, lively well rounded. No coffee detected. — 8 years ago
Classic CNDP. Great spice. Smooth as silk. — 8 years ago
Ideal table wine — 9 years ago
Feminine, tart cranberry, whisper of tannin, ultra-fresh. Lovely summer wine. — 9 years ago
No brainer. The fruit and the minerality are typical Priorat and that's not a bad thing. — 10 years ago
One of the best I’ve tried in awhile — 4 years ago
Upon recommendation from the wine ship guy, i opened this 2-3 hours before tasting, which was good, except for tge fact that it got too warm. I popped it back in the fridge for 20 minutes and then it was perfect. Very fruit forward and fresh with a nice structure despite its youth (2017 tasted in August 2019). All the guests loved it. — 5 years ago

Deep, rich, lovely. Rich fruit, lusciously delightful — 6 years ago
Burst of cherry on the front just enough tannins and a very pleasing finish. Paired nicely with beef short ribs. — 7 years ago
Tastes great. Not a long finish. Some smokiness and deep red fruit, light on tannins. Bold enough for steak but soft enough for grilled fish — 8 years ago
Quote good - would get again — 8 years ago
2011. Complex nose. Deeply pitched ripe dark berry fruit, wood smoke and piercing rock dust notes. Sledgehammer powerful in the mouth. Almost overwhelming rich dry extract coats the mouth. Huge body. Finish is very long with pure dark berry notes and dark minerals competing to see who quits first. Great wine. But you have to pick your moments for this one. — 9 years ago
Deep. Dark. Oak. Plum. — 9 years ago
