Our friend described this as forest floor. Did have wet forest smells along with mushrooms, dry blackberry and raspberry with a slight musty funk. Felt like this bottle was just a touch sweeter (not dessert wine sweet just that the dark fruit had fermented a bit more). Good wine. — 4 years ago
Torres family has been related to wine since the 17th century. Aged in oak for 18 months (70% new). Dark Ruby with aromas of black and blue fruits and complex spice. This Spanish Cab shows blackberry, currant and ripe cherry flavors with eucalyptus and herb spice, concentrated and complex with well integrated and structured tight smooth tannins. Long finish ending with earthy mineral notes. Just starting to be enjoyed now but this beauty has room to continue to develop. Very Nice! Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago

Great summer white! Drinking on the lawn with mom friends. — 8 years ago
Burst of cherry on the front just enough tannins and a very pleasing finish. Paired nicely with beef short ribs. — 9 years ago
2006 vintage. In its youth, the lofty oak treatment shaded the fruit, but not anymore. Integrated toasty oak intermingles with luxury leather, ripe yet fresh fruit (just entering its maturity phase), slatey minerality and hints of spice. Despite all of the above, it behaves sort of one dimensional. — 9 years ago
v18. Soft, smoked meat nose. Fresh, bright, layers of cherry and black cherry fruits. Clean, smooth, pleasingly bitter finish. Enjoyable. — 3 years ago
Blew me away. Nose is so elegant and pretty with lavender and dried red fruit. Just perfectly balanced palate with enough meatiness to know you’re drinking Mourvèdre but not enough to turn off the non-wine-geeks. So expansive on the palate in terms of the breadth of flavor and complexity, but at this stage of evolution it’s incredibly approachable and easy drinking. Smiles. — 5 years ago
clarity, va. floral nose, apple fruit, crisp finish — 7 years ago
12 years old and still drinking young. Big and smoky. Could have mistaken this for southern Rhone from a ripe year. Not terribly complex but worked just fine with Paella on the grill. — 8 years ago
60/40: Grenache, carignan. Gorgeous bright red berry aromas, brambly, smooth tannin, espresso, roasted coffee finish, woodsy, pine. Yumm! — 9 years ago
Pleasantly funky! Blend of Syrah (50%) with the balance split between Garnacha and Carinena (Samso). Aromas of bright brambly red berry fruit, cigar leaf and iodine. Just a touch of Brett. Red berry fruit and beef jerky with a touch of black coffee and dark chocolate on the pallet. A slightly spicy finish. Lacking a bit on the mid-pallet a bit but there is such a great balance of acidity, tannins and alcohol that it can be overlooked. A nice little find recommended by Chris at the Vino Volo in DFW! — 3 years ago
Needs a good hour to air. For me this was a very nice wine at such a low price. No overpowered tanning or flavour just a well balanced budget wine i would gladly drink again mid afternoon in the garden sun — 5 years ago
Light and graceful. Raspberry, currant, garrigue. Like a wind that just blew in from the field. Great stuff from #winetraditions — 7 years ago
Plum with red raspberry (was red currant initially, but acid faded the longer it was open). Medium bodied. Silky until a bit of a tannic finish. Feels like it has just about the right amount of age. — 8 years ago
Delicious Carignan from Rhone. Dark fruit, acidic, with just a touch of funk to make it interesting. #dryfarmwines — 8 years ago
Getting better. This is just beautiful Grenache. Awesome. — 9 years ago
