Weed, herb, raspberry and black current notes in nose with a hint of mint/eucalyptus. Raspberry, cherry and cassis in mouth, mild seed bitterness in finish . I highly recommend decanting. This wine is majestic. It really evolves. At first uptight and no nonsense. It plays hard to get. Then over time it begins to come into its own acknowledging black fruit and currants then whispering some bell pepper and finally just sighing with a hint of and I mean just a hint of smoke. — 10 years ago
