Red deep fruit colour. Very nice nose of cherry and spices, pepper. In the mouth it is both crunchy and of a beautiful intensity, which will express all the better as the bottle will have been aerated for at least a good hour. An elegant bourguignon beaujolais, with a gastronomic profile that is still a little young. Clearly tailored for long guard. — 2 years ago
Nice and fresh, another bottle proving 2016 is better than 2015 to my palate in Beaujolais. — 7 years ago

Floral avec un peu de rusticité, gouleyant. Beaucoup de plaisir! — 10 years ago
Warm vintage cru Beaujolais sourced from a tiny plot in the Côte du Py vineyard. There’s a lot to be said about the fruit-forward spiciness, but for me the nuances are flattened by a richness I associate with a higher ABV - the wines that are coming to mind are Williams Selyem’s pinots rather than a Beaujolais or Burgundy. Not really for me but a worthwhile avenue to explore if you want to try a different, relatively subtler version of a big red. — 5 years ago
Fresh strawberries and cranberries on first nose, mineral component coming through after a swirl, generous fruit in mouth supported by acidic tension. Already in balance + it surely has more stories to tell in the next 2-4 years. Impeccable. — 7 years ago
Solid structure, dark but not overpowering. Very nice Morgon. — 8 years ago
My first cru Beaujolais and I was blown away. Very impressive - complex, good fruit, lots of acidity - strawberry pie filling — 8 years ago
