I must admit it has been a while since I had a bottle of Pierre Peters that was as impressive as my first, but this example in magnum format hit the spot.
Tiny beads that feel like mousse. A nose of apples and pears with a slight hint of pineapple crisp and gorgeous mouth feel with some minerality to complement and a crisp, clean finish. Excellent. — 7 years ago

Tasted blind, from magnum. Old dark ruby color. Amber rims. Notes of black cherry, spice, earth and something like pencil lead. Ok in the mouth, refined, but lacking energy. With the meal this was enjoyable but was somewhat sleepy all night. Likely at peak and given the magnum format, it's time to drink up 750s. Guessed 62 Latour. — 6 years ago
