Just outstanding. Cherry, licorice smell and taste. Legs galore. Loved it. — 8 years ago
Solid CDR, paid 19 bucks in camden Maine. Engagement weekend. Peppery and rich but goes down like water. Much like a chat d pape but less complex. Needs to be decanted. — 9 years ago

Members here so biased, but love this wine. Lots of flavor, won’t like it if you like light wines. — 8 years ago

Medium plus ruby. Stewed bell pepper, black olives, eucalyptus, black current, orange, plum, prunes. Medium acidity, medium acidity, high alcohol — 9 years ago
Dark fruit and a dense structure and full bodied character. Black plum and prune with blueberry and some anise and eucalyptus on the nose. Chewy tannins and this one was good but could last a couple more years. An interesting Baked date with smoke nose after sitting in the glass. Yum! — 9 years ago

What a killer smokey bbq scent in this gal. Kansas City bbq, nothing from the Carolinas or Texas. And yes, a “gal.” It’s tamed and soft, not too masculine, but deep and complex. Curvey but still sharp acidity. Be careful with this one! — 6 years ago
