Really nice Sauternes sweeter and a bit more viscous than the Y'quem and maybe since I was about 20 sheets to the wind it was standing out more than the Y'quem but after having it again the next day there was no comparison with the Y'quem. — 10 years ago

Very pleasant boutique bottling from a superior vintage featuring a texture of black pepper, black tea, savory and dark cherry. Purchased for low $20s, this producer does small productions beside selling fruits to leading Mendocino producers. Low level of tannin would make this a an easy choice for by-the-glass and for many Pinot fans — 11 years ago

1990: Coutet 'Cuvee Madame', a truly rare treat. Every sip was exciting. Absolutely perfect balance. Not as powerful as the '88 Cuvee Madame, yet made up for that with exceptional grace. Wow! — 10 years ago

Really delicious. Impressed. — 12 years ago
This what it's all about; excellent Pinot Noir. Light, complex, yummy. Each bottle does need to be stood up for a day before serving to let it settle. — 10 years ago
I liked this Reisling a lot. Slightly sweet. Just enough acidity. Nice fruit flavors — 10 years ago
Green apple, honeydew melon, honey, lime. One guest says this is one of the best wines he's tasted. Lively, off-dry, and very food friendly. — 10 years ago
Madame of the Chateau was there in the Joanne booth at VinExpo who was charming but this wine just shined even without her presence. Tasted more of Climens in Barsac. Elegant and just grabs your attention...super lengthy finish! — 11 years ago
