Juicy black berry heft; get the magnum — 7 years ago
A partnership between the winemaker Giovanni C. Sacchet and Antonio M. Zaccheo, offering a line of wines spanning from Tuscan DOCG appellations to varietal specific wines. Ruby with gentle aromas of red berry fruits and hints of cedar. On the palate strawberry and raspberry flavors with oak and earthy notes. Lingering finish ending with mineral tones. — 8 years ago

Velvety and dark. Long finish. C,CF, M, PV. Multi-vineyard sourcing. — 10 years ago
Love M-C but I usually go with their dry wines. This was smooth and brought some elegant elements; just a tad short unfortunately. Incredibly interesting nose though. Need to try this again: cork was drenched. — 10 years ago

KS, M, C, G. Deep aroma of red berries, strawberry, red pepper, pepper rose, paint, gouache, sour cranberries, cranberries, raspberries, red apple, black berries. Everything is very bright, dense and saturated. Excellent balance - light sweetness, excellent acidity, very good body. Long pleasant fruit aftertaste. A wonderful juicy and stretching wine! — 8 years ago
I feel like I'm killing a baby with this one but wow - it was 35€ on a local restaurant list - (although I'm pretty sure I asked for the lower altitude, less prestigious Contrada C which should be at a lower price point). This wine is from a ridiculously great vintage - from Franchetti's highest Cru - 1000 m ASL with 100 year old vines - aromas of sandalwood, rose, earth, and overall really just volcanic funk to the max. Incredible 🙏🏽🍷🌋 #volcanicfunk — 8 years ago
Beautiful match with grilled salmon on Mother's Day . C, B S,M and Lynne. Lovely nose, smooth — 8 years ago
Crisp and bright but showing a lot of candied fruit at this point. (Sort of like the C-M) — 9 years ago
The bold big brother of the M series. — 9 years ago
Oh my GOD! This Marsanne does not quit. So much acid, it needed decanting. Amber in color c/w a 1999. But this can easily go 15 more years. — 10 years ago
I asked for an elegant, fruity red to stand by itself after dinner and here's what I discovered! Round, both subtle and bold, long on the palate, we quickly became good friends! This blend of M, C and S goes well with a Latteria, a hearty but not overly dominant cow cheese - the Italian version of a nicely ripened, less than middle aged Gouda. — 10 years ago

Slowly opening up. Nice minerality, lemon, lime, white flower.. 1st time C-M 1er Cru Morgeot! — 12 years ago
I will start by saying I am prejudice when it comes to ‘98 M-C . Almost every wine they made that vintage has brought me happiness. This might be the best one yet. You name the fruit and this nose has it , papaya, orange, peaches and apricots. In the mouth it’s the definition of balance. Packed with huge flavors it is an elephant in ballerina slippers. Reverberates in your mouth! — 7 years ago
2006 Pierre Yves Colin Morey Batard Montrachet. Enjoyed at dinner w S&C F at Nobu M. Super rich, buttery, lush. Awesome. Loved. — 9 years ago
Cherries on the nose as well as taste. Black currants. More tannins than one would expect. Black pepper spice. Dried flower petals. Tartness. Body: 1% milk. Paid: $16.99. Personal note: M likes more than C. — 9 years ago
Fruity, ripe cherry and raspberry undertones. Drinking perfectly. Not bad for a wine from a master vigneron wedged between the more celebrated G-C and C-M! — 10 years ago
Almost a fruit bomb but with smoke and only 13% alc. it pairs well with food. Opens and softens quickly. Black fruit and plum notes. 35% C, 30% G, 20 S, 15 M. — 10 years ago
