Great wine. Full body, fruit forward but very balanced — 10 years ago
Very nice with my BT Steak. — 10 years ago
It's an all round player - fruity, full-bodied and smooth with little acidity and tannin. It pairs well with pretty much everything, including beef, chicken and salmon. It's a good wine to bring to any gatherings. The price point is reasonable for a vintage wine - C$22. — 10 years ago

Very Good TJ wine! — 10 years ago
Nice bottle but disappointing relative to the price and parker rating (98...?). Lots of red fruit (raspberries), very American style. Maybe a bit of tobacco. Not a while lot else going on. The 15.3% alcohol shows. Finish is kind of medium. I'm being tough here but I had high expectations. — 10 years ago
Wow! A suggestion at Bevmo and on the five cent sale. One of the best I've had ! Very heavy a butter and oak flavor — 10 years ago

Black pepper, blueberries, plum, black cherry with faint notes of vanilla & anise. Good balance of tannins, acids & fruit plus a long finish. Great value! — 11 years ago

The wine has a golden color. On the nose there’s a touch of smokiness with aromas of apple, pineapple, butter, caramel and walnut. It’s full bodied with a buttery mouthfeel but still has a sharp, piercing acidity. There’s flavors of pineapple, vanilla, banana and ginger. It finishes with some heat, spicy ginger, and pineapple. — 9 years ago
