The wine has a golden color. On the nose there’s a touch of smokiness with aromas of apple, pineapple, butter, caramel and walnut. Nice bottle but disappointing relative to the price and parker rating (98...?). Lots of red fruit (raspberries), very American style. Maybe a bit of tobacco. Not a while lot else going on.
