Delicious Duoro — 6 years ago
Has everything you need in a red wine for just about 10€! (10/10 in value for money); dark black fruit, nice integrated oak, minerality, fine tannins, good acidity, full bodied, long afterhall, very well balanced — 6 years ago

Obrigado to Jośe! Keeping up with the tradition of keeping Douro wines affordable and superior quality. — 9 years ago
Ripe fruit but not over anything with enough freshness to carry it through. Soft and long. — 2 years ago

Dry and nice — 7 years ago
Sitting on the lanai in Grand Cayman sipping the wine 2012 one of the more reasonable wines for sale here. Going down very easy lightly peppered with plum and blueberry fruit taste possibly coffee. The color is dark and the aroma is as it tastes with pepper and dark fruit. — 7 years ago

From new wine store. Superior wine — 4 years ago
Portugal makes some great wine and this is one. Nose of dark berries, dusting of earth, truffle (maybe?). Tight tannin structure with sharp acidity still. Will need time to mellow out. Quality. — 5 years ago
Excellent! Drinking really well right now.
BlackBerry, spice and a touch of smoke. Full body and still has years left to go but why wait. — 7 years ago
Yum! Craig likes too. Love that it's from Portugal — 7 years ago
My first experience of Portuguese wine , as for most people my age was fortified Port. Amazing that the same flavour DNA is so strong with this Dry Red without the high alcohol. Savoury dry cherry with liquorice. Drink now or cellar short term. — 7 years ago
Delicious fruity notes, low bite, medium tannins — 8 years ago

2016 vintage. Dirk Niepoort's answer to Burgundy and it actually has a Pinot Noir like colour and mouthfeel. This is a very unusual Douro from very old vines. Delicate nose with sour cherries , pomegranate and flowers. It is all about finesse and subtlety. Very long. Delicious and expensive (80 euros), but if you see the prices of Portuguese high end wines these days it almost seems a bargain. — a year ago
