Wonderful daily drink — 5 years ago
Well that might the best $24 I spent. Couldn’t pass up a late vintage release. — 5 years ago

Absolutely incredible value for money. VERY fruit forward, with “Touriga Nacional” in the front of the queue, if you don’t like port or fruity wines, stay away from this one, but for an amazingly drinkable daily “Table Wine” at around AU$ 10.00 a bottle? This is a winner on every level.

Dégorgement: 01/2016, Dosage: 2-4g/l, Really great Meunier, quite young, but a beautifully structured style. — 9 years ago
Medium bodied, good with food. Slightly earthy. — 10 years ago
Can't get enough of this elegant wine! — 10 years ago
Note, in 2019 hail cut yields by 40%, Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits and spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice! — 3 years ago
Terra orca is right! The earth is coming at me and I’m seeing red. But not the red of fury, the red of passion, the red of pleasure, and the red of desire. One sip of this and desire for the pleasure of passion from this wine endures. The palate parties with minerals. — 5 years ago
2013. In a great spot. Expressive nose with layers of ripe cherries & plums. The fruit follows a similar path on the palate. At the Bourgogne level, I don’t expect the complex fruit, smoke & hints of fennel to emerge so beautifully. The complex flavors find a wonderful balance with the ethereal palate weight and chalky tannins. This is fresh, but the acidity is behind the flavors and textures right now. — 6 years ago
Cheeky delish round with finished acidity balanced out with floral jasmine notes. — 7 years ago
Great QPR, the Delas Saint-Joseph François de Tournon Rouge 2011 displays baritone aromas of ripe plums, reduced blackberries, anise, wet embers, fruit cake and a a billowing smoky undertow on opening. It's equally glorious in the mouth, I especially like the interplay of tannins and acidity. It's well defined, black fruit bolstered by cedar and Garrigue, I'm enjoying it on its own, certainly, it has the potential to age over the next decade or so. Highly recommended. — 10 years ago
Did a blind tasting of the top 20 with a wide variety of people. Many experienced champagne/wine folks. This is it! Hands down the best non-traditional (not sour) Champagne, i.e. it tastes good. — 11 years ago

Solera vintages: 2005-2013, Dégorgement: 01/2016, Dosage: 0-4g/l, All 7 Cépage, this is so interesting, screaming acidity, beautiful development & layers of complexity, outstanding wine. — 9 years ago

Lovely vibrant aromas of garrigue, violet, black cherry, dried cherry, forest floor, blackberry, leather. At 25 years this is still wonderfully fresh with an exceptional finish. Lovely wine — a year ago
