Oakes albaranio!! Different but very nice. More like cool weather Chardonnay. — 10 years ago
This is a rosé I can get behind. Quite a bit more serious than your average. @ 14.1% you'd think it'd be a bit hot but it actually balances the big fruit (watermelon, strawberry, raspberry) and zippy acidity. An early indication of just how good the 2014 vintage was. Patience level is low for the Oakes wines to be ready. — 10 years ago
Sweet easy drinker for the price. — 12 years ago
High acid. Rarely Oakes. (Expensive) smell- floral, metallic, mineral, grapefruit. Color- pale yellow green. Taste- acidic, slightly bitter. Body- medium. Food- goat cheese, vinaigrette, oysters — 13 years ago

Very nice Piesporter. I always enjoy Leonard Kreusch Rieslings, though. Sweet, ripe, green melons, ripe Fuji apple, juicy pear, & maybe a hint of some pineapple too. Nice balance of sweet & minerality. Went nicely with my spicey fish tacos for dinner. 😃👍🏼 — 10 years ago

Crisp tangy wine. Nicely Oakes. Hits hard in back of throat. Crisp and very dry. Not as pricey as a Barolo but a close sustitute for a fraction of the cost. Does not not have the complexity or the added flavor a of a Barolo. — 9 years ago
