Like seeing an old friend. First winery I ever visited (I was 5), and is always one of my favorite places to visit. Wines are better than ever and Paul Draper is simply a legend. — 11 years ago
WOTN - am amazing 89. Our group tasted thru first and second growths from this vintage and only now are they approaching their true potential. Classic cedar lead pencil cigar box left bank. Depth of fruit and a haunting finish. Not many can make wine like this. A legend. — 11 years ago
Bartlett of Maine - Wild Blueberry Wines. Stuff of legend. #wine rich, deep, black and blue. — 11 years ago
Committed. Dedicated to its pumpkin foundations. Whilst reaching this I was reduced to the very oak upon which I was built: reminded of a summer I spent in Santiago with my great grandfather who was 100 years old. Argentinian legend. — 11 years ago

Wine Review: When visiting this all red wine focused winery on Lake Seneca, owner Kate Thomas told me this was their Wednesday wine. After trying it, I would say this very easy to drink wine could be your everyday wine. This wine opens with a mild light berry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is very well balanced, smooth, approachable, and had juicy cherry flavors. This wine finishes slightly dry and lingers for a while. This wine is a good food wine that would pair well with many foods. This is a great value wine that you would enjoy throughout the fall. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: In the toolbox it is the crescent wrench, in the kitchen it is the salt and pepper, and in a relationship it is the love. Red Legend gets it done. A healthy dose of Cabernet Franc and Merlot and whatever else is in the Shalestone cupboard. — 13 years ago
2006 and 2007 magnum GGs side by side! These two epic bottles were the stuff of legend with the 06 showing more forward momentum and complexity, while its 07 counterpart seemed to sit and brood in its obvious youthfulness... Both were sublime, but the 06 is the one to drink and get all hedonistic over while the 07 slumbers happily. #Keller #Hubacker #grossesgewächs #GG #Riesling — 11 years ago
Sundried tomatoes with some dried oregano and herbs. Little bit of olives. Acid is nice. Sole cranberry sandal wood and Rose hips contrast and no so subtle mineralality. The kekfrankos is the Same as the blaufrankisch. 1530s the bull's blood wine. The story goes that the people were surrounded, drank all the wine and charged an attack against the Ottoman Empire. Killed the head of the snake and they scattered. Not sure if the legend is true but it's The only town in the Ottoman Empire area that has been left pristine. 😏 regardless it's a darn good wine — 11 years ago

Beautifully "restrained" (if that term applies to Napa blockbusters) and showing fantastic balance.
This reminds me of 2003 Araujo Eisele CS at age 5+.
Buy as much as you can afford and then put a few extra bottles on your CC.
This is going to be a legend in 20+ years.
