Light to medium gold. A little burnt orange and caramel in the nose. Guessed off vintage old white burg and it was sadly a 2007 Leflaive village. Drink up — 9 years ago
Nice wine. Enjoyed the lighter body and milder red fruit of this wine. A whiff of leather and tobacco on nose and some earth on the palate. Wouldn't really say any floral quality to this Pinot. If you anthropomorphize this wine, I can see describing her as "elegant" and "soft" and "smooth". But did not achieve "sexy" or "seductive" status for me. Second date? Sure. Why not? — 10 years ago

I could have never blind tasted this and come close to it being a cab franc...cab sav, sure and about 20 other things too. It's much better than I would have ever guessed. Try it, it's a serious wine. Like it reads Vonnegut and wants to talk about the subtext kinda serious. — 8 years ago

Very nice and interesting Syrah from the Rhone. Aromatically not that intense, but this has great freshness and acidity, with medium tannins. More purity of restrained fruit than earth or funk. Quite nice with a ribeye at Prairie Whale in the Berkshires. — 8 years ago
