Chateau dates back to 13th century, originally used as fortress. 1st known owner was Sieur Raymond Peyraguey, purchasing the property in 1618. In January 2014, Silvio Denz purchased Chateau from GDF Suez. Balanced and fruity, this ripe, sweet wine delivers both botrytis-like character and generous fruit. It has fine acidity to cut through the richness, giving intense sweetness. Drinks well. Bottle age will benefit. — 7 years ago

Delicious, yeasty, salty. Easy to drink. Great effervescence. — 9 years ago
Excellent alone and hearty enough for meat.

Hard to justify paying $40 for another Grande Cuvée. This is bright and clean, citrus dry flavors, and much less than half the price. Sunny afternoon around the pool, this is a great choice. — 7 years ago
Good flavor thanks hyatt.
On second thought, while I’m drinking it more and more, it’s actually good. Need to raise a notch.

Blanc de blancs. Tartness and sweetness together. Perhaps the latter slightly more prominent. — 9 years ago

Pleasant with its own character and soul. Used it for 3 days as the warm up aperitif. Real wine and good value. — 6 years ago
