Delicious and rich. Raisin and fig with some dark, stewed plum and jammy strawberry... mouthfeel is rich and luscious like butter and rib eye. Dense, dried fruit base (not overwhelming) with slight minerality and a touch of floral highlights (rose pedal and violet) on the nose. Loved it. Consider for daily drinker rotation at $15. — 9 years ago
Absolutely astonishing. This was a well declared vintage, and a stunningly balanced LBV. Unfiltered and unfined, with a lovely balance between raisin, espresso and cedarwood on the nose. The mouthfeel is rich, with stewed fruits and dark chocolate and a refreshingly spicy, lingering finish. I've never had a port jump at me with a spicy, woody character such as this one. It will mature so well in the coming years!
On a side note, I wanna thank @Kyle Groombridge, TWP for this wedding gift, it was absolutely enjoyed! — 10 years ago
Good acidity and balance for a bottle at this price point. Nice value. — 10 years ago
Loved it once. Love it again. Black cherry, mocha, hint of raisin and so much depth. Cinnamon spice and a hint of orange rind. — 11 years ago

Rich nose, deep cherry raisin on the front, finish was a little short but an exemplary 15-year Amarone. — 11 years ago
Fab QPR £24 aged Amarone that you should not drink next to 🔥 as it's going to blow 💥 or touch if you're off sugar 🍭
🍷 Garnet ruby brown
👃 Heady powerful sweet black fruits & spiced strawberry w/ raisin, prune, herbs & cocoa tones
👄 Full bodied smooth, thick & sweet sticky raisin w/ dark fruits buried in there & a dryness although not tannic
🎯 Long sweet raisin & dry black fruit w/ a mocha kick & high 15% ABV burn as it oozes down — 9 years ago
Blackberry, vanilla and star anise on the nose. Boysenberry and raisin upfront, with lots of heat that builds up. Strawberry, sweet tobacco and a little pepper on the finish. Love this wine and it's been great trying different years! — 9 years ago
Raisin, caramel (burned sugar), charred oak... and vanilla. Better in a few years. — 10 years ago
Slightly effervescent wine that is good as a starter to a meal or to sip on its own. — 11 years ago
Nice after-dinner drink - tastes a lot like raisin, but in a good way. — 11 years ago
Raisin grapes. Sweet and lovely. A great ending to a delicious meal. — 12 years ago

I'm a sucker for good Vin Santo. This one is a more recent vintage than I'm accustomed to, so more tangy and bright. Nevertheless it provided all the requisite notes of raisin, apple tart, cinnamon spice, and honey. My biscotti was lured in for a dip! — 9 years ago
Exquisite, wine of the night out of a diverse CdP lineup. In a perfect place right now so if you happen to have any take it for a spin, you'll be happy you did. Not a trace of heat, not over ripe or raisin, we'll balanced and pure, red fruited mixed with tertiary notes. — 9 years ago
This is nice, but this particular bottle was a bit raisin-y. Still delicious with decent acid, but lacked freshness. Tried on the second day the bottle was open so that could have something to do with it. — 10 years ago
Such an energetic wine! Starts slowly, but gets going like a rock star. Very, very long raisin-like finish. — 10 years ago
Mourvèdre & Syrah. Very smooth. Not strong for a Syrah. — 11 years ago
Sour cherry, raisin, fennel salami, and forest. On the palate, dried herbs, soy and caramel. M+ balanced. Beautiful wine. A great example of a brunello di montalcino. — 12 years ago
