My all time favorite wine. The Brunier family are geniuses! Love my Chateauneauf du Papes! — 12 years ago
A lovely Côtes du Rhône, blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan. Typical French gravely quality of a CDR. Nice to drink on its own, but would probably pair well with pasta with bolognese sauce, lamb stew or grilled chicken or pork. A great value for just $10. — 10 years ago
Enjoyed this at Le Mercurie, Ste-Germain-des-Pres neighborhood in Paris. — 11 years ago
Stunning. Not one of my usuals but an enjoyable glass no the less... It's forefathers can be proud the name lives on through this little number — 11 years ago

My current Trader Joe $6 favorite. Amazing for $6 and I don't care if I open it for just one glass — 12 years ago
Really great. Well balanced. — 14 years ago
Somehow we forgot to rate it while we were drinking it (I think that's a good sign!), Laura liked it but it's one of my favorites, very good the second time around — 10 years ago
09 vintage: drinking beautifully, surprisingly lively on the palate, and not showing any sign of heat/XS alcohol which I often associate with this vintage. Medium bodied, quite plush, lovely bright red fruit characters with a "stony" background note. Very nice drink. — 11 years ago
Mmmm. Smells like poop, not too dark. Easy and firm in the front, juicy and never ending on the back. The J-Lo of wines ... — 11 years ago

One of the best Chateauneuf du Papes I have ever tasted. Bursting with flavor, rich and even creamy notes, plum and black cherries, currants, a little cinnamon. Wonderful. Maureen says, "Porty and yummy, earthy, good." — 10 years ago
