Good mid-palate concentration, and high acid despite 15% alc. comes across as both elegant and burly, plenty of length in the finish but not without tongue-numbing heat. Wonderful barnyard funk on the nose which persists even after 3 days of being open. Berries and chewy tannins on the palate.
