Subregion should be Osterberg — 8 years ago
Last night was the Confrerie St. Etienne Spring dinner. It was my first time attending. This is a chapter of the original group out of Alsace, France, and is the only chapter here in the US...just happens to be in my neck of the woods! Great introduction to Alsace wines.
Kind of surprised at the reviews here for this wine. Maybe people rated the wrong one? This grand cru Riesling was paired with a Chilean sea bass and both were excellent. Not a lot of petrol on the nose, but it checked off most Riesling notes of honeycomb, pear and had that lovely sweet and quick finish on the palate. — 8 years ago

Very lovely rosé Crémant form my favorite wine region in France - the Alsace. Light, refreshing with a graceful initial note and finish. — 11 years ago
Yum scrum! 2002!!! — 13 years ago
Surprisingly sweet with honey, lychee, ginger, honeysuckle, and succulent peach. Quite marvelous Alsace deliciousness. Went with my chicken tikka masala very well. Sweet matched the spices. A slight bit of that Gewürtz pepperiness at the end but only noticeable after it’s opened up a bit. — 7 years ago

This one is from old vines and quite sweet. More than off-dry! — 9 years ago
Mystery bottle bought at auction from a mixed lot. Had no idea what to expect but this is actually a very good high quality Shiraz with 10 years on it. It had definitely developed for the better. Clear signs of age at the rim, moving towards red brick but still opaque at the centre; sloes, eucalyptus, and Madagascan pepper; nicely integrated tannins. A great and unexpected surprise! — 10 years ago
A spring day on the nose; warm orange blossom honey on the way down. — 10 years ago
Pale gold, spicy peach, white pear. Dry, good acidity, ripe peach skin notes with some richness. Medium length, very decent. — 11 years ago
Dry and floral! Just like i like em. — 7 years ago
Tried this at the national wine centre in adelaide and really enjoyed it. — 7 years ago
Tuoksussa pursuaa petroli ja eksoottiset hedelmät. Suutuntuma on leveä ja hedelmäisen makea. Happorakenne on tyylikäs ja maltillinen kantaen makua pitkään. — 8 years ago
Remembering rewarding this wine from the 2010 vintage a 3-digit score. This might well get there as well, but as it was bottled last week; not yet. Shy, yet intense aromas where crushed summer berries and pronounced minerals take centre stage. Almost explosive on the palate where sweet tannins counterbalance rich fruit, pan fried herbs and iron like minerality. Fresh, long and layered finish. Pretty astonishing, actually. 97+ — 8 years ago
I feel star-struck!! — 8 years ago
