Lots going on here. Dark and delicious, the chocolate, licorice and cherry notes are all prominent and delicious. Sustained really well. Should have waited a couple of years but it was delicious now. — 8 years ago

Thank you @lawatchguy for bringing this incredible wine. Haven’t had this since visiting the K Laz Wine Collection two years ago and this has improved tremendously since then.

Deep ruby red. Layered nose pulling on some of those vintage characteristics like damp forest floor and tobacco. Some dark berries lingering as well. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Notes of dark cocoa and berries on the attack of the palate followed by some more earthy characteristics and minerality. Long finish with the minerality lingering. Drink till 2030. — 8 years ago
