Another great last minute gathering at the storage facility!
Have yet to find a Napa or Sonoma winery whose chards keep me as head over heels as Aubert. Lauren is still my favorite followed by Larry & Sons, but this was doing very well 7yrs in. Butterscotch, wet rock, faint mint and white flower. — 8 years ago
Pretty rose gold color, interesting blend of Grenache, Mouved, and Counnoise (which I have never heard of). Fresh floral notes and red fruits on the nose, healthy acid, citrus. Little bit of bitterness on medium length/complexity finish. Very drinkable, though not remarkable. — 8 years ago
The only other Aubert I've had was an '09, so it was nice to try one that was a little younger. This was served very cold and needed to warm up a bit to express itself, and probably needed a bit of air. No butter bomb here...crisp green apple, brioche, cantaloupe finish. Possibly a faint hint of mint? Absolutely beautiful juice, though in comparison, the '09 Lauren from them was more enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Sample from Estate. Deep and clear yellow, love this wine from the start, so visually appealing. Beautifully complex nose that started off with a little bit of oak influence, toasted nuts. Layers created the complexity with notes of stone fruits, and some citrus, almost like a lemon curd. Day two the nose got a little sappier, as in thicker and dark with some honeysuckle. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) and full bodied. Creamy mid palate with vanilla bean and honeysuckle in the front. Long finish that brings through a more Burgundy feel with lemon and a little minerality. Absolutely delicious and killer value for only $25.00. Drink now or enjoy till 2023. — 9 years ago

Compared to a 2010 Judge and 2010 Aubert Lauren, this one was easily the third place finisher. The fruit here is definitely there, acidity definitely there on the open.....would it be kosher to call a Peter Michael "boring" ?? That is pretty much the sentiment I had about this one. And of course I use that term very loosely because with a nice salmon or swordfish steak I would have been on Cloud 9 with this wine. It had RIDICULOUS competition tonight. Nice structure, very big on the opening, dried fruit notes on the middle, and very rounded edges on the finish. This is definitely the tux and tails Chard of the night, whereas the other two seemed to have more harsh edges. — 7 years ago
Great under $10 bottle both Lauren and I loved! Bought from Total wine. — 8 years ago

This bottle was opened next to a ‘13 Aubert Lauren and I’ll be darned if I wasn’t impressed at how good this was at this age. Very bright and tropical fruits on the nose, but nowhere near the signature lemon cream I get with Aubert’s SVD chards. Acidity is much more mellow than its Carneros counterpart. Light on its feet on the palate with lemon, honeyed mango and honey roasted cashews. Thanks for opening @Mark Flesher — 7 years ago
