Excellent wine, very smooth. I don't recommend many wines but this I would. — 8 years ago
Interesting - 🍊 color :) & ripe tangerine taste, but still holds freshness thanks minerality. Have you seen how vines looks like at La Geria in Lanzarotte? Everywhere volcanic sand, and vines are surrounded with rings made of volcanic stones. This one is sweet and mineral, and it disappear in a minute, like fruitella in the mouth. Great with blue cheese. Half a star upgrade for being so odd. Cheers — 9 years ago
Swinging out of the gate. Beautiful nose and even more beautiful structure with a strict minerality and a more pronounced volume than other Malvasía from the property. Plush. — 10 years ago
Baboso negro. A fuller bodied grape with more texture & black fruit. Still deft — 11 years ago

Made by Rubicon one of the best producers on the island . It's time Malvasia from Lanzarote started getting more attention. The volcanic soil , fresh , fruity but with this underlying minerality . If you never tasted wines from Lanzarote before , look out for them . I love them — 8 years ago
A kick-ass dessert wine. Nutty, dried fruits, wildflower honey, coconut and exotic fruits. Nosing it you'd think oxydative wine but it delivers so much more when it hits your taste buds — 9 years ago
Like a Hi-C with all the sugar removed! Wonderfully tart cherry, delicious and very drinkable. YUM. — 10 years ago
7 years in, holding up beautifully. Not much fruit left, but tons of beguiling volcanic minerals, reminds us of Bermejos Listán Negro rose from Lanzarote, Canary Islands! — 10 years ago
Lovely!!!! — 11 years ago
This is some intense stuff. Roasted coffee and earth on the nose. Dried fig and prune plus mocha dust. I almost believe this issue from semi dried grapes as the flavor intensity is so pronounced. Silly texture. — 12 years ago

Gorgeous wine with fish, had a bottle with hake. Very slightly sparkling on the tongue, dry and really refreshing. I could easily drink this as "pop." — 8 years ago
