Skunks, funky aromas, barnyard, sweat socks. Brick colored edges. Surprisingly mellow mouthfeel and a sweet roundness with a nice balance of mellow tannins, a bit of acidity still and restrained subtle fruit. Really good. — 8 years ago
A lovely Swiss Merlot, rich, complex, elegant and fruity. Ticino is the capital of Swiss Merlot and the platinum is a gorgeous example of this local savoir faire. The grapes of Platinum are dried before being pressed to achieve maximum density and concentration. The wine is aged in barrel for about 20 month. It has a dark garnet red, nose perfumed with black and red berries, spices, licorice, herbs, a touch of bell peppers and plums, medium to full body, nice acidity, green tannins, long fruity finish, my score 89, drink to 2019 perhaps longer. — 10 years ago
