Very dark. B.O. and horse sweat. Not getting much fruit on the nose. Pretty funky. Wow it has serious Euro flavors. Ink and black licorice. It’s complicated with lots of action. — 7 years ago
Aromas of crème brûlé and lemon — 9 years ago
Phenominal. Can't say enough good about this white. The ONLY reason I don't give it a ten is because the Orange from Kivel Stadt is just a tad better! — 10 years ago
Saved this Magnum for a special evening. It lived up to all expectations...perfect balance, light, dry, with hints of honey. So glad we waited, so sorry it is gone. — 11 years ago
Dusty red fruit, bit of grip. Delicious. — 11 years ago
Very nice Cabernet, aromas of mulled spices, cedar, pepper, caramel. Mouthfeel is smooth and just the right amount of tannins. — 11 years ago

A great bargain with red fruits and a hint of smoke — 12 years ago
Again loads of fruit, exceptional young wine, black current overtones, should cellar 20 years — 14 years ago
@Benjamin Keator had his hosting at the CC tonight and it was absolutely incredible. What a night of gorgeous wines! All wines are guessed blind.
What an absolute treat. Sarah Francis has crafted some incredible wines, and is a close friend of Weston (from Montagu wines). She’s received monster scores and her quantity is minuscule. That being said, I called this 2012 (right vintage) Aubert (wrong producer), specifically one of their Carneros Chardonnays (got the region right!). It had a lemon cream and lemon tart richness to it with high acidity. Like Aubert’s Hudson was mixed with Aubert’s Lauren. Incredible Chardonnay. — 8 years ago
Almost clear in color with the slightest golden hue. Medium nose with subtle hints of grapefruit and vodka. Very thick on the palate, but a classic Dry Riesling throughout. Rather short finish, but very nice. — 9 years ago
Vibrantly tropical, the sparkling sauv follows through on the panel's promise of passion fruit. It's excellent on its own or with light food. — 10 years ago
Favorite of the three single vineyards I tasted: picture compressed shelf of shale, crunchy layers of texture & fruit, crackling acid. Finger Lakes grosses gewächs. — 10 years ago
Very nice in the summer hint of lemons. Refreshing, very well priced too. — 11 years ago
Intense Vanilla Oak aroma, spiced fruit, dark cherry, cinnamon and nutmeg expand harmoniously and make way for a Devine finish. A FANTASTIC BUY for this blend that delivers a deep bandwidth of flavor. — 11 years ago

Exceptional year in upstate New York! Wagner only makes their Meritage blend from the best of the best years! A cooler climate red blend with great balance between darker fruit flavors, tannins and oak. — 13 years ago
Rich Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon, with notes of black cherry and coffee, at Goodwin Procter event — 7 years ago
Big, bold cab but also jammier than the typical cab. Has Syrah like notes because of it. — 8 years ago
Can't get except at the tasting almost out of 13. Great price point — 10 years ago
Top quality stuff! Plenty of acid still, would like to find a bottle to stash... From magnum. — 11 years ago
Smooth, sweet, one of my faves! — 11 years ago
Crystal clear. Pure. Beautiful rendition of Riesling — 11 years ago
Complex yet accessible. Notes of dark red fruit. Balanced. — 12 years ago
One of our favorite whites. Crisp and light with a hint of lemon and melon. $13 at busters in Memphis. — 13 years ago
