The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Sleeping Lady is a powerful, intense wine that is going to need a bit of time to come together, as it was bottled just a few weeks before this tasting. A rush of dark red cherry, pomegranate, menthol and orange peel gives the wine a somewhat exotic profile, but it is the wine's structure and overall balance that stand out most. For all of its obvious intensity, the Sleeping Lady is an especially polished 2015. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2018) — 7 years ago

Stunning. New but not modern. Huge power, beautifully (fully) integrated wood on this pure Sauv Blanc. Insane length and delineation across the palate. Shockwave structure. — 4 years ago

Aged remarkably well, old lady purse, subtle oakiness, and currant still linger on the pallet. — 6 years ago

Bought it for the beautiful bottle, will keep buying it for the beautiful wine. Very light and crisp. — 8 years ago

Warm & elegant with blueberries & cassis, a fresh whiff of violets plus an attractive earthy-herby tone in the background.
On the palate this is fresh with pure fruit, velvety, mouth coating tannins and a minty accent toward the long finish. The 14.5% alc is impeccably integrated.
This is pure hedonistic drinking pleasure, without overdoing it and retaining a elegant frame. A perfect match for a flank steak in black pepper sauce. — 4 years ago
