Much more good balance than 2014. Not herby and thin. 2013 is good year. 2 hours later, the taste which brought herby flavor for 2014 was found. But it is balanced by its concentration. and gives me a bit spicy feeling. Complexity. It is still changed even in 4 hours. Very nice. It’s fairly simple. but dark fruit w maybe some licorice. Decent tannins. I would say a medium to med-lite body. Slightly flabby esp at finish. But decent balance. Good value. Really like these Italian mountain wines. (Very different review vs my first time!) — 6 years ago

@Benjamin Keator had his hosting at the CC tonight and it was absolutely incredible. What a night of gorgeous wines! All wines are guessed blind.

This dessert wine is about the same age as my Dad. When you can associate a wine/vintage personally, it really opens your eyes to how wine can hold. This is undoubtedly Pedro Ximenez, which I guessed. It reminds me of a non-vintage port with a balsamic mix to it. Tons of black licorice, old brown sugar, and the aforementioned balsamic vinaigrette note. Incredible for the age. — 8 years ago

This is the favorite dinner wine for Amanzio of Enoteca Vino Nostro. The Lombardia nebbiolo is lighter on the palate than the Langhe wines to the south. It has the roses and a hint of violet, but no tar or earthy flavors. Excellent with pasta and eggplant! — 9 years ago
