Mountain berries, black cherries and licorice drops. Strong tanninic snap to cut through things. But balanced and clean. Paired with a raspberry birthday cake, but would go with anything sweet, savory or rich. Lovely Rhône. — 7 years ago
Great Wine at a great price — 9 years ago
Very light wine. Perfect for those who do not like a powerful after taste. — 11 years ago
Sliced plum on the nose, then an almost sweet black pepper on red fruit with a slightly buttery finish. Awesome stuff. — 6 years ago
A little lacking in the nose but otherwise quite proper for southern rhone. Good food wine. — 10 years ago
Great red blend. Not dry, but a little acidic. Great with red meat AND chocolate. — 10 years ago
Purple with a bluish hue. Fruity, silky, SMOOTH! Just the right balance of tannin to set the base. A wine like a old friend. — 10 years ago
Mineral nose and pleasant fruit up front. The finish is where this is lacking. While leaving a glycerin note, the wine leaves the drinker with little else. — 10 years ago
Like a fancy Lambrusco! Not as sweet so makes is great!!! — 11 years ago
#SommCon - Why don’t I drink Côtes du Rhône blanc more often? Almond dust, juicy pear, yellow apple skin, beeswax. A great way to start the day. — 7 years ago

Both raspberry and blackberry in the nose. Nice fruit and light tannin. — 10 years ago
I love a tasty $10. This is definitely one. As usual there's value in the Rhone. Went wonderfully with my veggie southwestern hash, which is no surprise, since most Rhones hold up to hearty meals. Good fruit, nice body, a little spicy, not overly complex. — 10 years ago
Dark. Full bodied and a touch of pepper — 10 years ago
Crisp and not too sweet. Nice with dessert on a hot night — 10 years ago
For $8, this is a great Pinot Noir! Lightly floral with a hint of spice. Nice. — 11 years ago
