Vanilla is the first thing that hits you. The caramel adds a certain sweetness to the taste. I would literally drink this all the time if I could get it. Dark, tasty, perfection. — 10 years ago
Discovered this Pinot a couple years ago as an alternative to a brand my family liked. I agree that it is a Cab drinker's Pinot in that it's got a bit more body & holds up with steak or pizza! — 10 years ago

Mineralogy, peaches, with an overall tropical mouthful. Mouthful has an exciting jazz factor. [2 barrels blended into the stainless steel tank] acidity shows through and finish is rounded by the oak. Screw cap made it's way into Chile! — 9 years ago

There's a lot to like about this whisky. There's also quite a lot not to like. The intense vanilla, caramel, mocha flavors are delicious and sustain beautifully. However, there isn't the elegance or smoothness of a great whisky. Better than most large production options at a similar price point and a worthy addition to the home bar.
