Pale brilliant straw-yellow. Vibrant, incisive citrus fruit, floral and mineral aromas show outstanding clarity and a deeper pear note that emerges as the wine stretches out. A pure, sharply delineated example of Riesling, offering concentrated but nervy pink grapefruit, lime and green apple flavors along with hints of honeysuckle and green tea. The first bottle right after receiving this lot felt a little overblown and pruny. So glad I waited a while before opening a second one.
