A "wow" Napa Cab, this wine is full of the requisite mocha cherry tones, with the thick dusty tannins which suggest a Rutherford origin of a significant amount of the grapes. This wine paired quite well with flash-marinated steak in orange zest/rosemary sauce over caramelized asparagus, potatoes, zucchini, and bell pepper, and Italian bread with mushroom Brie on the side.
