Has a slight thickness in consistency. True honey sweetness that dances on the tastebuds refreshingly. My husband and I enjoy this wine very much. — 5 years ago

Delicious, very traditional Gigondas. Wild sour cherries, and slightly smokey touch. 2009 vintage is drinking wonderfully. — 9 years ago
Very nice pinot noir but not traditional by pinot standards. Very clean and complex. Layers of great berry fruit and spice. Interesting textures. Very pleasant finish. — 9 years ago
Desert wine at Gary Danko - somelliers pick — 11 years ago
Bright ruby red color. Aromas of ripe red fruit with floral and spice notes. A traditional Rioja blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano. On the palate, the wine was complex with layers of fresh ripe berry flavors with spicy and smoky notes fro new oak wrapped in silky tannins, lingering finish ending with a mineral character, well balanced, great value! — 5 years ago

This is what living is for. First, the restaurant Was sheer perfection non fussy yet perfectly traditional French cuisine in the snowy peaks of Vermont. This was the setting for one the most incredible bottle of wines to share with my love. The wine was from 2015 which was a drought year in California, however there nothing dry about this wine. Complex and dynamic with bold tannins and smooth finishes ending with a round bite. — 6 years ago

Desert Island! This is perfect after a long day, not too heavy and not too light. Slightly salted. — 9 years ago
Had older vintages, the ‘07 was released in late 2015, great but still has time to bottle age. Decant 2 hours before drinking. Tempranillo with about 15% Mazuelo (Cariñena), concentrated bouquet of berry fruits with spice. On the palate cherry and plum flavors, well balanced for a difficult vintage. Lingering, crisp and focused, tight tannins ending with a mineral character and earthy tones, a traditional Rioja. Stock up on the ‘07, there is no ‘08, but ‘09, ‘10 & ‘11 will be released Wow! 900 cases US! — 6 years ago
A baby. It started kicking and screaming 30-40 minutes in. Plush structure with weighted tart fruit, fresh herb and fall spices. Healthy dose of earth and balanced oak influence. It's unfair to compare this to Burgundy in terms of length and complexity, which it matches without doubt, but deservedly should stand alone as a unique traditional voice in Rioja. And still yet it should be of the highest compliment. — 7 years ago
Textbook traditional Rioja with fantastic structure and balance. Nose still reticent with oak in the fore, but clean and focused with no reductive notes. — 9 years ago
This was amazing. A superb traditional expression of Sangiovese. What a joy! — 10 years ago
