Dry cranberries, pomegranate, ripe strawberries, bing cherries, red licorice, an array of baking spices, a touch earthy & brambly. It's a bit like Gamay with strong structure. Sweet for a red wine. — 11 years ago

On the nose new oak aromas: vanilla, smoked wood, wet leaves. On the palate, ripe sour cherries. Balanced, smooth pleasant tannins, medium body, medium (+) acidity. Perfect with white meat or cheese, or even stand alone. Can benefit from a bit of ageing, but happy to drink now as well :) — 10 years ago

I'd never guess this was Chard. It's got tropical fruit notes but without oak and feels lean and clean but not stony. Great with pasta dishes. — 11 years ago
