Good balance of black and blue fruit with spice and oak — 11 years ago
So, how are the big '09s Beaujolais five years in? If this is any indication, totally fine, if not graceful and pretty. Pure fruit core with very broad shoulders structurally. Nothing high-toned, and none of the brett or VA I often find in this producer. Was kind of bummed that I didn't order something younger and fresher until I remembered what and insane wine this is for the money and who cares. Great with veal and Morrels. 5-10 years ahead at least. — 12 years ago
2006 Screaming Eagle. Drank w the group at Ninebark. We were stoked to drink this, but this bottle wasn't great. A thought it was corked, but he always does. K and I both thought that it might have just been stored a little improperly. Too bad, but oh well! — 10 years ago
Jammy fruity and delicious. Buy 2, 1 is not enough. — 11 years ago
2011 Vintage. Good mineral notes, medium body. Needs to decant for 2+ hours to really open up. — 12 years ago
This was delicious! Very mineral, balanced, complex and vivacious. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was Palomino. — 11 years ago

Tha k you Mr. Lurton for coming by and pouring us four vintages of Cheval Blanc! This was in a great spot with the most olive intrigue, new leather and cool blue fruit. Where is my steak? — 10 years ago
