Columbia Valley Viognier

Absolutely the best wine of the Charles Smith lineup we had tonight, in my humble opinion. Totally Condrieu in style. Pretty aromatics and a kiss of oak. Love it.

Killer value here. Charles Smith's K Viognier is dry, crisp. Cool climate Viognier with notes of white flowers, unripened peach and nectarine. Not too viscous of a texture - delicate and balanced. Yum!

Better than expected...not completely overblown.

Light crisp refreshing. A fun mid week wine. I am more of a red than a white.

Woody/earthy on the nose, acidity is a bit high for me.

Really like this one. A crowd pleaser!! Nice fruit (peach and lychee) tones with a tinge of sweetness. Beautiful nose. High alcohol but you don't notice.

K Viognier- Walla Walla, WA 2012.

This was okay.

Crisp with floral notes and citrus flavors. Good amount of acid to balance out the fruit. Some bitterness on the finish.

Reminded me of an Albariño more than Viognier. It lacked the high-toned, fresh fruity flavors. Felt dumbed down and deadened by the way it was made.
