2006 Screaming Eagle. Drank w the group at Ninebark. We were stoked to drink this, but this bottle wasn't great. A thought it was corked, but he always does. K and I both thought that it might have just been stored a little improperly. Too bad, but oh well! — 10 years ago

So, how are the big '09s Beaujolais five years in? If this is any indication, totally fine, if not graceful and pretty. Pure fruit core with very broad shoulders structurally. Nothing high-toned, and none of the brett or VA I often find in this producer. Was kind of bummed that I didn't order something younger and fresher until I remembered what and insane wine this is for the money and who cares. Great with veal and Morrels. 5-10 years ahead at least. — 12 years ago
