This is all wet rocks and blue fruit, just what I love. — 6 years ago
Raspberry, dried black cherry, smoked salted game, herbaceous and forest floor notes. Damn good kitchen sink blend! — 6 years ago
Solid product, but lacks depth. Heat is pleasant but not overpowering. The vanillin on the other hand is overpowering. — 7 years ago
Dry and floral! Just like i like em. — 8 years ago
I love wine from Cahors and you rarely see it on a menu. Found this one at Rye in Leawood, KS. (Save room for pie) Always a simple, straightforward wine that delivers. I hope I can find this to bring home! — 9 years ago

2006 Screaming Eagle. Drank w the group at Ninebark. We were stoked to drink this, but this bottle wasn't great. A thought it was corked, but he always does. K and I both thought that it might have just been stored a little improperly. Too bad, but oh well! — 10 years ago
2011 Vintage. Good mineral notes, medium body. Needs to decant for 2+ hours to really open up. — 12 years ago
Full, Bold and plush. Made from Walla Walla grapes. Ripe fruit (plums and black cherry) aromas and flavors. Hints of black pepper, black olives and baking spices. Smooth tannins. Touch of blueberry on the finish. Fruit forward but not over the top. Just a bit hot out of the bottle so decant this one a bit. — 5 years ago
Quite different to a traditional Cabernet, but very nice nonetheless. Quite a woody bouquet, but oak is subdued upon tasting and fruit really shines. A bit of cherry on the finish. — 6 years ago

Perfect summer red. Nice acidity and a touch of Brett. Great summer red — 8 years ago
Wonderful 100% Washington State Grenache. Cherry, Earth, Black Pepper, Herbal aromas. Cherry, red currant and Vanilla flavors. Light color and body. Great summer red. So Fruit forward, it almost seems that it has a bit of sweetness. (But really bone dry) Hint of chocolate on the finish. Serve it a bit chilled! — 9 years ago

Good balance of black and blue fruit with spice and oak — 11 years ago
LOVE. Loire might be my favourite French region.
Some green pepper on the nose. Dangerously drinkable. Food friendly. Went well with spiced ground beef and rice, but this red would be a good companion for red or white meat, Indian dishes, or on its own. — 6 years ago

Seriously good Chardonnay from an unlikely AVA. The Finger Lakes can be very hit and miss, but sometimes you find gems like this. Restrained and balanced, with a very subtle aroma of pineapples. It has some weight to it, but also firm acidity. There’s probably some oak at play, but it’s very much in the background. And at only 12% ABV you can have a couple glasses, too. — 8 years ago
A very well rounded Chenin that offers plenty of mid-palate and mouthfeel without sacrificing its most pleasurable assets; piercing acid and deep minerality. Nose is citrus driven, melange of grapefruit, orange marmalade, and lemon zest. Blossoms and leaves followed by a touch of redux and funkiness. Extremely inviting. Palate is focused, lime and oro blanco draped over crushed stones and sea salt. Phenolic kick on the back end to soften the acid’s blow. Showing so well today! — 8 years ago

Unfined, unfiltered Beaujolais. 100% Gamay. Not usually my style but I LOVED it. A perfect French bistro wine. 2019. — 5 years ago
