Tropical pineapple on the palate and nose. Color is richly yellow after 9 years. — 7 years ago
The nose showed intense minerality with crushed stone, lime, and sweet florals. On the palate, I found soft textures with peach, apple and hints of lemon, sweet inner florals and refreshing acidity. It finished clean with lasting ripe peach and hints of citrus rind. — 8 years ago
This amazing little half bottle was still astoundingly fresh and vibrant, but best of all was the fact that it came from one of my first-love German Riesling vineyards, Piesporter Goldtröpfchen, and from the finest vintage of that decade - 1997! — 9 years ago

2014 mountain road riesling , st julian winery, michigan, usa.
This is a wonderful semi-dry riesling with citrus, peach, and tropical notes. Great for a day outside. One of my fav's when ate with a complementary meal, something with a spice preferably. — 9 years ago
One of my firsts, the wine that got me hooked into tasting and trying wine. Went great with the jambalaya I served it with, even without letting the bottle breath for long. Tart but had sweet notes at the front of it. Really a great table red wine!! — 10 years ago
