Great wine for any time drinking! — 9 years ago
Decanted for an hour, this was intensely aromatic with a complex melange of flavors--vanilla, figs, cherries, green olives, tobacco leaf, cinnamon, and chalky dust--while staying light on its feet with refreshing acidity, resolved, silky tannins, and medium body. Even at this price, I'd call this a value. — 10 years ago

16/20 (89/100) — 10 years ago
A great example of amontillado. On the nose Caramelized pears, white smoke, soy, brine, pretzel based autolytic notes, toast and touch of milk chocolate. The palate mimics the nose with pronounced notes of brine and sea salt. An oily texture and a long finish. — 11 years ago
