Big producer, but a really stellar wine. Everything you'd want in a Chablis. Got this for $5 on the clearance shelf at an Albertsons. Kudos to the wine buyer, shame on you general wine buying public. If it said Chard on the label it would have been sold long ago. — 8 years ago

2002 Vintage. Clos de Beze. In Calypso Grill, Grand Cayman. Surprisingly good wine menu! This wine has an appealing nose - leather, earth, old oak notes, black ripe fruit profile. Classic Chambertin nose. On the palate, medium plus body and concentration, medium plus prominent tannins - yet to fully integrate leading to drying on the finish. In many ways, excellent. In other ways, slightly out of balance and the drying note detracts. — 8 years ago
