Perfectly aged Spatlese from top producer. Apricot and apples in the aroma. Good acidity, vibrant fruit on palate. Lingering sweet fruit finish. Golden color. Drink up. — 9 years ago
Great with hot and sour eggplant recipe — 9 years ago
Rich, deep, slate filled aromas with slight hints of petrol, key lime and tropical notes. Full-bodied, rich and slightly waxy on the palate. Powerful and deep, with flavors slate, stone and citrus. The finish is pure, long, clean and beautiful. Wow! This will live for at least 10 years. — 10 years ago
A baby 2015 Pinot from the Keefer Ranch. I really like this. It is less fruit intense than many CA pinots and its drinking nicely this young. I get some Syrah notes here. I opened it 2 hours before pairing it with duck. Thank you @Ehren Jordan — 8 years ago
This was a great wine and a great setting as well. — 8 years ago
Quite deep colour with an almost orange tinge. Bouquet is quite musky, again with orange notes. A smooth and luxuriously thick mouthfeel but needs to be well chilled to prevent that becoming flabby. A lip-smacking lemon meringue and orange / cointreau flavour. A very good value everyday drinking wine. — 10 years ago
Beautiful Amber color. Aromas of candied pears. Bright fruit. Luscious and Lovely. — 10 years ago
Dry, rich taste, very well in line with my preferences — 11 years ago
Absolutely love this wine from Ehren Jordan. Restrained even though the 2012 vintage was so sunny. Strawberry rhubarb goodness with the acidic lift to fill in any gaps from front to mid palate. Well rounded Burgundian styled Pinot from Sonoma. — 11 years ago
We love what @Ehren Jordan is doing with Syrah in CA. We are all in. Smacks of N. Rhone, and thank you!! — 8 years ago

Simply brilliant and one of the best old-world Rieslings I've had in a long time. Slightly sweet with a soft bubbly finish. Makes me miss Germany with each sip! — 9 years ago
Green apple with a touch of ripe yellow peach. Perfect for the sunset tonight. — 10 years ago
Had the 2011 vintage. Bought in 2015 trip. Plums and dusty taste. Tannins come through at end — 10 years ago

A typical Turley from their "higher octane days" under Ehren Jordan (I think Tegan (current winemaker) is pulling ripeness levels down a bit these days) this is showing nice classic Zin spiciness on the nose and very ripe fruit, sweetness/glycerin + some VA on the palate.
For a wine/style that was probably not intended to be cellared it is holding up nicely at age 12 and actually gained in the glass after 60+ min.
I would opt to drink up (or for fun hold for 30 more years and throw it in blind with 2003 Burgundies/2009 CNDP).
