The 2015 Pezat Red, Jonathan Maltus's entry-level red, is flat-out delicious. Sweet red cherry and plum fruit are front and center in this racy, open-knit wine. There is much to like, including the wine's very accessible price. I would prefer to drink this succulent Saint-Émilion over the next few years, while the fruit retains its youthful vibrancy. @Jonathan Wall - got me back on track. One of my favorite examples of Pinot Noir from anywhere. 2008 showing loads of structure, forest-y notes and wonderfully deep red fruit. This will be long lived and will really hit stride in a few years, but drinks very well with about an hour of air right now. — 7 years ago

Clean, medium intensity nose, dark fruit, chocolate, leather. Full body, medium acidity, medium level of tannins (very silky). Flavours of plums, cherries, chocolate. Long finish.
