Drank this wine accompanied by Jonathan Maltus and his wife Lyn, the owners of the Chateau since they were kind enough to accept a dinner invitation! Clear, deep ruby. Clean, medium intensity nose, dark fruit, chocolate, leather. Full body, medium acidity, medium level of tannins (very silky). Flavours of plums, cherries, chocolate. Long finish. @Jonathan Wall - got me back on track. One of my favorite examples of Pinot Noir from anywhere. 2008 showing loads of structure, forest-y notes and wonderfully deep red fruit. This will be long lived and will really hit stride in a few years, but drinks very well with about an hour of air right now. — 8 years ago

Fantastic. Wish it wasn't our last bottle of the 2012. Subtle Pinot fruit with thyme in the nose. Earthy palate of damp mulch or wet leaves with a nicely balanced red fruit and a savory and slight saltiness in the finish. A great wine from a really cool winery.
