The songs feel familiar, but they keep a uniqueness that sounds fresh every time I play it. If you don’t own this record, buy it. Janvier’s Silex is everything to love about Chenin. Unlike the Oakville Estate this was bright and generous on pop. It continued to shed tannins and round out with time and air. Lots of purple. Violet hues, ripe plum and Adrian Peterson (purple Jesus)....hedonistic yet inviting and comfortable. Keeping it classy but the pictures in my head of the after wine activity would certainly qualify as my most epic Delectable post. I promise a future Jessica pic in the future.
