Wonderful expression of a French Chard — 4 months ago
Still a baby but excellent — 5 months ago
Fully mature mouth-coating herbs and tomato. Lacks freshness of most bojo but somehow works with broad mid-palate. A treat, for sure. — 8 months ago
Translucent brilliant ruby color.
Raspberry and cranberry nose.
Tart elegant palate. — 9 months ago
Strawberries and cream. Dry not sweet. Refreshing. — 3 years ago

While i don’t drink cabs often, this was a delicious $9 grab from the store — 7 years ago
Another amazing Beaujolais from Dryfarmwines.com — 8 years ago
Enjoyed greatly — 9 years ago
Popped and poured from a half bottle; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The “Oeil de Perdrix” is made in the saignée method and pours a pale copper/pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of strawberry, raspberry, pink pepper, lemon, and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely expression of a Blanc de Noir Rosé from Bouzy. Disgorged April of 2023. — 3 months ago
Easy drinker. Pale straw hues in the glass and medium white fruits on the nose. Light citrusy lemon, melon and green apple on the palate. A good balance of acidity and minerality. Don't kill this with an icy chill. Drink this with a light chill for optimum flavor. — 4 months ago
The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru doesn't possess the delineation and panache of Tollot-Beaut's on the nose at first, though it coheres nicely with aeration. Peach skin, linseed and wilted white flowers eventually come through. The palate is well-balanced with a viscous entry, a little more honeyed in style than previous wines in this flight of Corton-Charlemagne, though it deserves applause for the precision and detail on the finish. It needs a little more time in the bottle compared to others because there is a lot of coconut-ty new oak. My score is based on this being assimilated with bottle age. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2024)

Fruits had fallen but still very enjoyable (1994) — 9 years ago
Solid Napa Cab, pretty floral and chocolate notes mixed with sweet tobacco leaf, oak and dark fruit. Drank a bit young, tannins got pretty grippy and gave me a slight headache, but overall a nice wine — 3 months ago
Initially nice with red fruits, opening up with more forest floor after about 15 mins. 30 mins later, the heat of the vintage comes out. So, really enjoyable, but only for a pretty narrow window of time. — 5 months ago
Good fruit, smooth tannins….this wine is drinking well and has some life left — 6 months ago
Selfridges feiyu - smoky, bubble gum / banana, typical Beaujolais wine, low sulphate, natural fermatation, works well chilled ( only works with low tanning wine) — 8 months ago
This has chilled out and has relaxed. No dosage, but it has evolved to a sweeter place. Really presentable now. Just needed 20 years to come around 😀 — 9 months ago
(It’s evening). Bright straw yellow. Pronounced nose. Blossom, peach, sweet yeastiness, gentle nuttiness, golden apples and pears, spicy chicken skin soup, sweet baking spices (vanilla, cinnamon). Deep and intense but round and broad, not piercing.
Dry, high acid, high alcohol, full, rounded body, hint of spritz, very saline, nice long finish. A bit austere. Couldn’t quite cope with brilllat savarin but great with the others.
Les Resistantes remains supreme. — 4 years ago
This was our second bottle. First was uninspiring and despite the 97pt RP rating, found it to be disappointing. The trick is to let it breathe for at least an hour to let the flavors develop. It is no Opus One but very satisfying with a juicy steak or just plain enjoyment! — 8 years ago
