Gorgeous nose. Very clean and mineral, expansive and exotic but spicey. Sea air and so salty. Tremendous aromas. Rich and silky but great acid and concentrated. Long and with a great kick. Amazing mineral intensity that builds on the finish. And also a fruit explosion.Nose is sick on the empty glass. Flowers. Layered and elegant. — 10 months ago
Wow. Awesome. A bit less rich than the 14. Just Great. Screaming mineral and stone fruit on the nose. Fruit and mineral with integrated richness on the palate. So alive. Just jumps at you. Finish is mineral and long. Just sweet minerals that cling to the palate like super glue. Finish is perfect. Like a roller coaster up (fruit) side (mineral) sideways (forward). Perfect balance between big flavors. A wine you can either gulp down or savor over an evening. Wow what a star. Bought from fass selections. ... if I had to do a two word tasting note it would be “Fucking magic”. Vaporizes $100 Côte d’Or. 25 - 35 or so. Wish I bought it all. — 5 years ago
Nose is so airy and mineral with a bit of fat but not much. Seashells. oyster bed, some green apple and lovely wet rain effect. A scene in nature as I like to say. Palate is rich and ripe but with so much nerve and energy and an icing on the cake like texture. Great purity, density and concentration. Long, tangy finish. Really compelling and a bit cold and young so will follow. Nose gets some lemon curd and spice now with air. Wonderful combo of opulence and tension. Really nailed the vintage. — 4 months ago
Showed well. Classic. — 9 months ago
We did 21 barrel samples so 2020 bottle shot. Bottled in August. Super expressive nose, ripe and exotic. green pea, salt, but so complex and detailed. So much nuance. Silky and complex and has amazing finesse and elegance with an exciting and sapid finish, what energy as well. So mineral on the finish and tremendous complexity. Also a purity that is out of hand.

Apples in rain. Minerally rocks dunked in lemon. Everything you want it to be. — 5 years ago
The ‘14 remains the quintessential Chablis AOC. So fresh, like just-squeezed crisp Chardonnay fruit poured over fragrant, chalky limestone. What it lacks in depth and weight compared to the top premier crus, it makes up for in sheer exuberance and freshness. Love this wine. — 6 years ago
Wow. So mineral and pretty. So many seashells and a huge dash of iodine. Smells like there is a ton of material there. Palate is ripe but less ripe than a 17 Lechet with insane salinity and great freshness. Long. Really good acidity and has more acid than a 17 Lechet from Monday and less gras. This is so Chablis. Really compact and just so well made. Showing brilliantly. — 7 months ago
Chalk, lime zest, some fruit like green apple, mineral powder, Power and depth, superb mineral, more focused. Finesse, nose, refined and that mid palate silkiness. So good. Wow terrific inner mouth aromas. So complex. Long and salty and crazy inner mouth finish. — 10 months ago
To begin, a very nice Côte de Léchet, but I think that Jean Dauvissat does this 1er Cru best.
Nose is cooked lemon, lemon pith, light/wet limestone and under-ripe white peach.
Palate has fresh, steamed lemon, crunchy oyster shell soup and lemon curd (light).
Solid wine, plus 2016, nice QPR. — 5 years ago
This rare beauty had immense tension on the palate. Minerality really is the protagonist here. Chalk and crushed shells emerge from the million years Jurassic soils to show that this is a serious piece of art that will live forever. Just like you feel when drinking Dauvissat, is like taking a surf trip to the most pristine and pure salty waters. Its salinity explodes as flavour and texture. Just like being underwater. A transparent representation of its place, and of true flawless natural and biodynamic wine. — 7 years ago
Beautiful, light, elegant, delicate flowery white. Purchased and thoroughly enjoyed in Vevey Switzerland for around $25 retail. — 9 years ago

Mineral, lemon, showing some maturity (round and ripe, but still great acidity), lovely balance, medium-long finish, very fine 1er Cru Chablis at age 10!! — 4 months ago
