Very funky, slightly carbonic. Odd for Pinot... old lady's perfume and roses to the nose... Weird and awesome. — 9 years ago

This is their Reserve Gewurtztraminer. Lemon and honey nose. Lemon,
honey and grapefruit with mineral notes on the palate. — 7 years ago
Really loved this rose. Vibrant with complex fruit. — 8 years ago
It's been about 10 years since I last tasted this, this is the 12/06 disgorgement and while the bead is barely detectable, the sap has remained, so what you have is a very vinous, juicy champagne that needs more time for the sweetness to taper off. The nose is pronounced intoxicating white truffles, sherry and agrumes, with some anise that I get from Beaufort. For now i say hold. — 8 years ago
As stately as I expected it to be (can one really expect anything less of a wine as legendary as Cristal in one of Champagne's most celebrated vintages?) glinting pale gold, the color of a freshly-minted coin. The 2002 Champagne Cristal Brut Millésimé is imbued with soaring notes of pear and smoke, brioche and chalk. Disgorged in 2009, this is a precise wine—it has a sort of crystalline weightless density, with fruit buoyed by a fine mousse, and edgy saline-tinged minerality emerging at the close. 10 grams dosage.
"You must be as precise as a Swiss watchmaker, I tell my team," our host, M. Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, Chef de Caves at Roederer stressed. Precision in spades. — 9 years ago

Upon recommendation from the wine ship guy, i opened this 2-3 hours before tasting, which was good, except for tge fact that it got too warm. I popped it back in the fridge for 20 minutes and then it was perfect. Very fruit forward and fresh with a nice structure despite its youth (2017 tasted in August 2019). All the guests loved it. — 6 years ago
Local wine shop has me on this Corsican kick lately for which I am thankful. This wine is deep and intense with dark complexity and a moody dried fruits and herbs combo. — 7 years ago
2009v. Light gold color. On the nose: petrol, tart yellow apples, and a little lemon and tropical pineapple. That clean and juicy lemon comes through on the palette, too. Racy acidity, very dry, and a little salty on the finish. An intricate but delicate wine- best with simply prepared seafood or chicken, or with rich soft rind cheeses. Lovely! 12.5% ABV. — 7 years ago
Deep, dark beautiful red. A little spicy, hints of pepper. Very soft, smooth finish. Low tannic finish. — 8 years ago
