Amazing aroma. Berry jam and some nice wet soil. Something a bit herbaceous too. Taste is good too. Smoky and fruity. A rich, ripe full CA Pinot. Bitter licorice. Hints of dark chocolate as well. Holds its own even after being open for a week. A great buy for $10 at grocery outlet. — 7 years ago
Color of light gold. Nose of average green apple, a bit salty, a bit honey, light and above average. Taste similarly follows the nose, with some green apple, a bit salty, a bit nutty, some pineapple and apple, a bit off balanced bittersweet. Aftertaste is short with some zesty, residual sweetness, and warm note. — 8 years ago

I look for a bacon/autumn leaves flavor in North American Pinot Noir, and this one delivers that in spades. That note is what is prominent on the nose and also comes through on the palette. There is some raspberry as well, but this is mostly a bacon/autumn leaves bomb. — 6 years ago
