A beautiful desert wine to finish off the evening. — 9 years ago
Cantine Colosi Malvasia Delle Lipari Passito Di Salina 2009: Grown on the island of Salina, off the coast of Sicily (part of the volcanic Aeolian Islands or Isole Eolie), this wine presents a milder sweetness than I am used to. Strong honey aromas dominate the nose however the warm orange & nectar flavors soothe the palate and bring a familiar smile to my face. Mild hints of apricot & fig appear on other sips as I finish the glass and tasting experience. Overall, a good dessert wine to end any evening. Have a great week! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago
Fantastic summer Chardonnay from Tuscany: light and refreshing but with interesting body, not heavy like California Chardonnay. — 5 years ago
Olena loved it. Taste like cherry wine — 6 years ago
Not quite in a Jura AOC, but belongs in that section at the store. From a family who provides rootstock to famous producers (Isole e Olena, Rion). Serious full bodied Chard which could be BTG all over town. From Petit Monde who are importing some exciting wine. — 9 years ago
Same family as isole in Tuscany 65 Nebbiolo and this is their home property — 10 years ago
The first Gran Selezione vintage—although the year predates the rollout of the higher quality designation, this was the first bottling to have documentation proving it met the criteria. It’s also well documented how DELICIOUS the wine is, showing red cherry, savory herbs, and some rusty/earthy tones. From magnum. Wow. — 4 years ago

Bright red fruits. Super similar to the 14 isole e olena, but much more approachable right upon opening-- less acid. Should have drank with a big pepperoni tomato pie. — 7 years ago
Signum Hotel, Salina, Eolie Isole, con syp of course. — 9 years ago
Better than the Isole e Elena of same vintage. Sour cherry, smoke; very smooth for a youngish Chianti. — 10 years ago
