I really like this Pinot. Earthy-Terrific balance of spice, smoke and raspberry - but my balance favors smoke! $16 at Costco... I would pay twice. — 8 years ago

My mom's favorite Moscato. But will have to hunt around, the store I get it from says only 6packs now🤷♀️ — 6 years ago
This is Mark’s best effort - I remember being at St Innocent 20 years ago and the White Rose was stunning. This 06 is still youthful with a beautiful mouth feel and a subtle bramble & currant finish that lasts. Find it & drink it now. — 7 years ago

An amazingly good wine — 9 years ago
As a burg should be. Floral nose nevertheless balanced by hints of minerals and stones, lemon scents. Lean body with good structure. Medium finish with acid lingering. CVed. With st innocent. 9/2/16. Will try again later. Second tasting CV: 9/28/16. Nose a bit more oxidized (cv?) Palate still balanced with acids and minerals and fruit and with long complex finish. Still 9.0. Compared to 3 others. 10/3/16 opened. Still great, no sign of seepage despite a bit of liquid on the cap. Cork very tight and difficult to extract. So 2x CV was OK. Excellent wine. Yum. Finish shows off mineralality and complexity though it did fade pretty quickly. — 10 years ago
Stunner! Some dark smoky tar lingering, but plenty of briary fruit and lush red fruit. — 10 years ago
Deep garnet (almost ruby) hue with medium-high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry, chocolate, coffee, cream, licorice, mint, pepper, sage, smoke, tar, and vanilla. Medium-full body; medium-plus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. A complex and ever-evolving nose; a smooth yet chewy mouthfeel; and a silky, spicy finish. Not a typical full-bodied Australian Shiraz; the "Red Dog" Syrah clone gives added balance, elegance, and aromatics. Biodynamic. Outstanding QPR (on sale at K&L). — 6 years ago
An incredible vintage for Eola-Amity. I was surprised how primary it still was in its development. Beautiful to drink, but there is another level it can attain with a decade more of age. Amazing spice, brush, rich dark cherry fruit, and fine tannin. Many layered and complex. Finish was loooooong.

Good wine, enjoyable. Holds up well with dinner. Was part of NY Times Wine Club — 10 years ago
Innocent stony aromas belie sheer Delightful juicy and mischievous spicy. Quite a mouthful and light weight enough to keep the cup full. Nicely executed for the style #Alsace #edelzwicker #wine

This is also “Dijon Clone” from the part of the old Seven Springs vineyard that was renamed “Anden” after a divorce between the original owners (305 cases). This is SUBSTANTIALLY more youthful (color, aromatics, flavors) than the 1998 SS, this seems like a 3-4 year old Chardonnay, great acidity, not at all overripe, medium-long finish, really just a lovely world class Chardonnay, kudos to Mark Vlossak!! — 6 years ago
